The Roman Forum at night
Site of Caesar's assasination, lower center of this photo
Remains of an ancient Roman bridge crossing the Tiber.
The new bridge is behind it on the left
No, not a live monk, as I first thought when I saw it, but a painting on a wall.
The CD with my last few photos of Athens and the first ones from Rome bombed. No photos on it, so I wasn't able to include some of the sights I appreciated. Those included some of the Piazza Venezia, the Arch of Constantine and views of Roma from the dome of St. Peter's Basilica. Guess I'll just have to go back again. Anyone want to join me?
I posted more photos from Rome than anywhere else. I don't know if that means I'm getting less selective, or that there were more of what I considered good shots. I guess time will tell. Florence is next on the list.
